Recycling Wires & Cables Via The Demanufacturing Process

Wire & Cable E-Waste Recycling in NJ

Demanufacturing wires, cables and chargers is a time consuming process, it starts with an actual person unscrewing and taking apart each and every wire and cable.

Every component of the wire and cable is then separated further into smaller components until eventually circuit boards are separated from wires, and the bulk of the plastics, metals and glass have been organised into separate storage boxes. This is the first and most timely process in recycling.

Although many of the toxic materials are yet to be properly separated or reclaimed the demanufacturing stage is the first step to ensuring the wire and cable doesn’t end up in a landfill site.

Office Computer and Server Disposal

Thinking of recycling, donating, reselling or redeploying your offices old PC’s, Wires and Cables and Servers?

You have probably seen, heard or read about data on old hard drives being recovered even after the hard drives were “so called” destroyed. How can a business be 100% certain of data security when it becomes time to retire those old computers? The answer is simple, have the old computers demanufactured. This process ensures each PC is taken apart and melted down. Newtech corporate electronics recycling goes one step further for its clients. First we remove each hard drive and wipe it clean with DOD approved software. Then we run the hard drive through a high powered EMP charge which utterly destroys the data storage capability of the disk drive. After this process the disk is shredded into small pieces and finally melted down to be recycled. It’s a leading edge service like no-other.

Disposing of PC’s & Servers? Worried About Data Security? DON’T BE!

How Can I Recycle Old Cables & Chargers?

Wire & Cable disposal & recycling program for New Jersey

A business will buy countless gadgets, electrical appliances, computers and networking systems over the years.  We all know how cables, chargers and wires can accumulate, and almost every IT manager has a drawer filled with random cables and chargers from products that were discontinued years ago. These days manufacturers ship almost everything with a USB cable, regardless of whether you need one or not.

So what to do about it?

Obviously you shouldn’t just dump these in the trash, we all know e-waste can be a big source of pollution if not properly recycled.  Your best bet is just to go around the office with a box and just fill it up with as much e-waste as possible.  Send an email out to everyone in the office, let them know you’ll be coming around with a box to collect old chargers, wires and cables. Then give us a call to either arrange a pick-up or a time for you to drop the box of cables and wires into our recycling facility.
